I was looking at the Sig Kilo. About the same money. Good to 1600 yards. Just making a wish list. Sure beats pacing off yards or rolling a wheel. Might come in handy as I don't shoot at a range. I want to start stretching out past 200 yards. Need to work on calling wind and learning my holdovers.
Wife wants to do a Goodwill date night. You walk into a Goodwill with $10 each and by your partner an outfit and you have to wear it out on a date.

Hell, I do't have the eyes to see that far even with a scope. Damn, it must be true...it DOES make you go blind

I had a 22-250 with a 20x Leupold scope and prairie dogs at 500 yards was still a tiny target.

No. We haven't set up a dedicated range yet. I'm building gongs and a shooting bench. He thinks we can get 700 yards. Definitely 500. I'm really interested in getting into long range precision shooting. I wood love to bang steel at 1000 yards. Doubt my scope will get me there though. I do not have the skills either and it a expensive hobby that requires patience.
