Sittin' here suckin' on an unlit cigarette and sipping coffee...all pissed off. Refurbed all the switches and levers, etc. , put on new bars, put everything together and lines are all too short. Original bars are not available, mine had a little rust on them. Bought new ones as close dimensionally to originals as I could find. Not even close.....kinda pissed off.

Top Speed?

Those damn metrics. I always wondered why my DR650 hauled ***. Thanks for the clarification Mark.

Yeah.....rise , width and pullback were all very close, seems that they arrived at the numbers a different way. Good thing they were only $20 some bucks....japanese aftermarket stuff is pretty cheap. Rust on the originals isn't very bad, can hide most of it with the wires...got it soaking in Metal Rescue now. If you never tried this stuff....buy some next time you have rust to remove..$32 gallon at Homey depot.

Does the difference show when you put the bars next to each other?
