Late shift check in. Productive weekend, did my taxes, spring cleaning with the OL and finished up with a Wolverine Big Ten tournament championship.

Didn't ice up this morning, so the lady friend went home before it did. Granddaughter canceled, Momma's staying home with her. I'm gonna enjoy the quiet and let my aching shoulders rest - replaced a kitchen faucet, I'm getting too old and fat for that squeeze under the sink stuf. Supposed to get our messiest storm of the season, so far, today and tomorrow. I've had folks tell me they don't understand retirement, what do you do, afraid they'd be bored. When the sn@w's piling up, I don't think having a cuppa in my recliner with a movie on the 65" is boring at all. Am getting a bit impatient to get a couple wheels outta the garage, though, haven't had a decent ride in 3 months.

The kids are exciting that I'm coming home tomorrow. They decided they are going to be my evening nurses. They have a blue life vest that they're going to wear when they are the main care nurse and the other one gets to be the snack nurse. So they will switch off between being the regular nurse and the snack nurse. The snack nurse is just there to bring me snacks. I tell you what my kids crack me up. And they got two giant stuffed animals ready for me to sleep with downstairs and Natalie said she's going to sleep with me downstairs to take care of me
