The weather was just too good today, mid 60's, had to drop everything and go for a ride. Lot of other people must have thought so, too, traffic was awful till I reached cornfields. Sat through more red lights than there were traffic lights; fortunately, only 3, I'm near the southern edge of the suburbs. Sure was nice out in farmland, though.
Lotta flowers
My favorite stretch of farm road, the green tunnel
Got a free wash, lasted over an hour
But it wasn't a very good wash - this is why I didn't ride a Harley
First time in the rain suit I got for WS18, werked fine. Lot better than the most expensive helmet I ever bought, an Arai. Fits good, but by far the loudest helmet I've ever worn, hate it. Just wanted to see how it does in the rain - not good, rain gets sucked up the back of it, would've had water running down my neck if the suit didn't have a hood. My old HJC is getting worn out, gonna have to get another helmet. Not an Arai.

Quick & early dinner then errands. Will run to O'Reilly Auto Parts for front & rear brakes for MIL's Ranger (brake job on Saturday with a few friends to assist), Beth & kids are going to help her prep her yard for new landscaping

Skies are looking pretty dark just east of us, Greg. Not sure if it passed us or if it's coming back this way at us.
