Vet just called and said everything went well. He deosnt have much of a tail left tho.

Taking tomorrow off I guess to see what he needs for the next couple of weeks.

No idea. It was hanging by the skin only.
I'm thinking maybe a stray wandered onto our farm. We do have coyotes in the area at times.
No other visible injuries so it's weird.
Invisible fence keeps them on the farm so it's not a trap or anything like that.

Interesting. Shadow had a 3/4 length tail. We have no idea what happened to it.
