Had a Golden Retriever years ago. He was a member of the family & will always be missed.

Way too hard to let go of them when the time comes. Put my last dog down just recenty, wasn't a golden, but still a member of the family!

Pretty tough having to lay a good dog to rest. I cried like a baby when we had to let go of my black lab.
God has a way of easing the pain.

I still shudder at the loss of Jake. He use to run point when we were 4 wheeling.

Whenever we hit the dirt he would howl out the window to get out & would run in front of the trucks all the way if I let him.
The old truck had bloddy prints on the uposltery from him.

Had to make him get in the truck when he was obviuosly done.
