I haven't been in those threads since I made my comments. I don't understand why though. The people in here keep clamoring for innovation and here is innovation and now their pissed about it. WTF.

Also more sales mean bigger profits which may eventually help increase quality standards.

I was hoping that when the Road Glide was taken out of production for a year that it would be brought back with a version of the VRod engine tuned and cammed for a bagger. Oh well. That would've been innovative and forward thinking.

And expensive. Those valves need adjusting way to often.
They could make the current engines much stronger on the cheap.

I guess I have to admit I never knew much about them except that they were designed by Porsche. My ignorance is showing.

I love the VRods but it's not something I'd buy unless it was a 3rd or 4th bike.

I just thought it would be a good water-cooled platform for a touring bike.

Eavning all. Vrod was an excellent motor!

Picked up the Ruger after work. Ran out of time working on the D4 and didn't get to shoot the thing.

Watching the Bears game.
