Those birds are smart. Especially magpies and Ravens. They have great memories, pass knowledge off to their young, hold funeral rituals for their dead, mimic sounds, and they are one of 3 species on earth that can recognize themselves in mirrors.

Correction: Humans, some great apes, magpies, dolphins, and elephants can recognize themselves in a mirror test.

I can't wait to get my parents home so I can take the carb off that mower. I'm hell bent on fixing that thing.

The first time I ever tackled a carburetor was on my first 55 Oldsmobile. I'll never forget taking the air filter cover off and seeing all that oil. I was expecting a paper air filter. I freaked out thinking the engine was bad. Double whammy that day. Intro to carbs 101 and intro to oil bath air cleaners.
