Evenin', Woods...

Jose, did you pull the bowl and check that the float needle isn't stuck and that fuel is flowing.

Your Dad might have fiddled with the carb screws, turn the mix screw 1/2 turn either way and see if it runs better. Just in case, be sure you know how to get it back where it is right now. I hate those little carbs on mowers and such, sometimes nothing seems to have an effect until I pull them apart, gunk soak them, blow them out, and then without knowing how I fixed it, they'll run. Pita little bits of pot metal.

Im not sure. Not very old, but it's been doing an awful lot of sitting around the last 2 years. I was paying a guy to mow their lawn. I hate paying for things I could do myself.

Actually Al I didn't know it had a float needle. I emptied the fuel bowl and took the fuel lines off to check for gunk. It runs better if I tilt it back with the front end pointing up. That leads me to believe it's a fuel issue.

If it's been sitting, might want to pull the carb and give it a good cleaning with carb spray, every little hole and every opening....I hate those little engines!

I just picked up a can of carb cleaner. I'll pull that damn tiny **** off tomorrow.
I accomplished nothing today but I do believe I've earned a beer.

Cursing in 2 languages gets tiring...

See ya Al.

Good advice. I screwed up today when I lost my temper. It was downhill from there.

So much for that beer. I was going to take a ride to the bar but it started raining.
Perfect end to the day.
Chris Kristofferson couldn't write a country song bad enough to convey what a **** day it's been.

You may not have your sanity right now, but you're still alive, Jose.
