I hate feeling like I accomplished nothing. Not to mention the $141.21 I spent on my second weed whacker in 2 months.

Jose, they can surge pretty bad if the mixture screw is way off. Sometimes you can give it 1/4 to 1/2 choke and it'll run smoother, but I'm guessing your lawn mower doesn't have a choke unless it's old. Your Dad might have fiddled with the carb screws, turn the mix screw 1/2 turn either way and see if it runs better. Just in case, be sure you know how to get it back where it is right now. I hate those little carbs on mowers and such, sometimes nothing seems to have an effect until I pull them apart, gunk soak them, blow them out, and then without knowing how I fixed it, they'll run. Pita little bits of pot metal.

I finally got that (digital) pic of mt sister from my aunt. She looks a lot like my Mom. My Aunt also gave me a brilliant idea...I can ask the catholic curch in Pueblo for her baptism record to get her birth date and proper name spelling to do more research.

It's a 4 stroke. That's probably why it's acting up.

Fuel, fire or air, Jose. It isn't getting one of those. How old is the mower?
