Big (ugly?) plush seat and RK air shocks make for a limo ride sportster. Bumps don't feel bad unless it bottoms out, and that doesn't happen often. Far less than that would lift me off the seat with stock shocks. Ok, maybe not limo, but pretty comfortable.
I use a LaPera bare bones (very nice quality) for short hops. It sits me way lower and a bit further back. For longer hauls or for when I want comfort I bring out the big ole Mustang. I installed 13" Progressive shocks in the rear. She never got uncomfortable after that.
Afternoon Woods! Rolling into the 5th hour of this deployment con call i am on.
The UV index is at 9. That's similar to hanging out inside of the cooling towers at Turkey Point. I'm wearing a thick layer of sunscreen and a long sleeve t-shirt.
