I'm planning on detailing my bike tomorrow. It's grimy...
Its going to need high water pressure.

Careful where you point the high pressure, water can get into places it doesn't belong. I personally don't use it because of that. When I've been on the road and HAD to wash it at one of those places, I use the low pressure to spray it down with soap and scrub it with a microfiber towel then rinse with the low pressure too.

I was planning on buying a better nozzle for the hose.
I wouldn't mind hitting the underside and rear wheel with a pressure washer though.

I can't seem to get the frame clean lately. I've been using undiluted simple green.

The powdercoat on the frames seems to attract and hold crud and corruption on mine as well. I use straight Simple Green with a toothbrush on my silver engine. Don't know how it works on a black engine though.

I use marine bronze wool on the fins. Usually after hitting it with Gunk engine degreaser.

I've used the bronze wool on the forks and wheels to. It's great for removing light oxidization and corrosion without scratching or causing any rust.
I saw someone recommending steel wool for the same job on a thread once. That's nuts.
