I agree and thats what has been the case. In total this will be 10% over 2 years. Better than what we had before. I think when we became Teamsters that put a little fear in them. We will re negotiate in two years. At least this union has some *****.

Wow. But you have to pay dues. So that comes out of pocket as well.

Around here, the majority of the unions are a joke. Don't do anything and want prime money. Most of the werkers are bums too. I deal with allot if them at customer sites and are no better than gangs.

We have those types here as well.

Dues are only $60 a month. I've seen worse.

We don't oppererator like union guys. Come in early, stay late and don't take those stupid mandatory breaks.

I've literally been mid sentence with a guy and he had to run off for his break time.

 

Unfortunately, younger folks no longer have that work ethic, most of them..............

 

That's not bad. Good to hear your going to not go the union mentality about breaks and hours worked. You see the worse ones all the times but the good ones, you never hear about. The bad ones give others a bad name.

Sad but true. They look at it as their right to not do anything around here.

 

To add, the one that I deal with, 1 in 3. 1 useful bust *** one and 2 just do enough to get thru the day. But they are the first to have their hand out for a raise and complain they are not getting enough.
