I've never gapped a spark plug this fancy. My 55 Olds had a rebuildable spark plug.

I haven't had an issue gapping my Iridiums, if that helps. I would definitely go bigger, Jose.
I tried using Accel plug wires that were supposedly compatible with the Ion sensor system but they threw a code, so I ended up with Harley Screamin' Eagle wires. Orange of course. $20.

Jose, you won't find a FSM any where but Harley or Fleabay.

Indexing the plug will gain a minor amount of power, not worth the hassle in a stock street engine in my opinion.
What is indexing?
Im bone stock mechanically.

Indexing the plug so that the gap of the plug is pointed to the center of the cylinder so the spark is directly exposed to the mixture for easier, more thorough ignition.
Useful on very high performance engines when you're looking for that last bit of power.

As Lou stated. I will be following that advice. It appeals to my OCD nature.

You can buy washers and kits of varying thicknesses made for this. Not sure where, I've never thought of using them myself.

I'm psyched about getting the plugs on. I ride hard and lately she feels a little week. I have 21,000 miles on these plugs.
