I was shocked as well. We do have to go through a screening every 5 years to be able to purchase firearms and ammunition. Different paperwork, course and fee to purchase a non restricted and restricted firearms.

After the first of the year we will have to have a permit to purchase ammunition. Fingerprints and everything. Probably a 10 day waiting period on that too.

Notper gun. It a license. But we did have to pay to register each firearm not long ago.

We only get printed for our CWP.
