I looked at a vertical one that uses wood chips and it's gas. It wasn't a Traeger though.
The one you built looks like it can handle a lot of MEAT! I make a pit stop in Cutler Bay whenever I'm headed to the keys. There's a few brothers that sell food right from the front yard. Amazing!!!

Man when I went down in the Keys I bought fresh Mahi Mahi from the Cuban dudes on the side of of the Hwy, selling out of their trucks, boat behind em still dripping water...

 

 

Maybe they'll chime in later, I'll listen. I've heard as a grill it sucks. I mainly plan to simplify and smoke briskets, ribs, sausage and pork butts. I can't usually use my regular wood fired smoker this time of year cuz we usually have a burn ban.

Dude in South Florida there's no reason to buy fish, shrimp, lobster, or crab at Publix or Wallyworld.
I buy at Garcia's. It's that Seafood place on the river. They have their own boats bringing everything in fresh everyday.

 

But there's lots of those trucks at almost any marina. Great prices and super fresh.

Seriously dude. You have no positive input. I'm just getting into long range shooting. I don't have 30 years as an operator in some shithole country.

And yes I understand reloading and would like to get into it. It's an investment and everybody has an opinion.
