A frame rail rusting through is kind of a big deal. Holy smokes. But it looks good!

If I wanted to drop the tank out of it again, I could check and see if Chevy sells a replacement. I could cut the old one out and weld in a new one.

Yeah, or have one made. Some of those cross-members are riveted in.

this one is a 3” tube with a few intrigue bends and welded in.

Hmmm. Getting something like that may be next to impossible. Or prohibitively expensive.
