I found out it has the highest concentration of bugs per square inch in the world at night. I was slimed. Head to toe bug goo. The goo pile that curved from the tank to my chest actually made a thump noise on the ground when I got off the bike. I left a trail of gooey bits on the restaurant floor when i stopped for coffee. I probably killed more bugs in 100 miles than all the years of my life up till then. And probably after. So that's what it is, bug hell.
Jose, you ever ride that at night?

Lou, bet you'd love trying out a belt fed. 400 yards... hell, forget a scope just watch where the bullets hit and adjust. Great for moving vehicles, but I only got to do that once.

LOL!!!
By the way. Second place for highest concentration of bugs goes to Okeechobee Rd (US 27).
Got to play with a 50 cal on a M113 once. Accuracy by volume!
Off to bed. The beach was nice till the fog rolled in. Catcha later when Mr perfect isn't around.
