Greg, to answer your question about how much stuff is left to move......a buttload! We were working on getting the Kitchen stuff moved yesterday as well as clearing out paths for the mover guys who are coming Tuesday to get the big stuff. Most of the furniture is not going, most everything upstairs is being sold or donated and the bedroom furniture Kristi and I have is being replaced I have been told. Really not that much big pieces making the transition.

 

Re-morning, Woods...just spent an hour screwin' around with DirecTV. Got an email telling me that they're sending a return kit for a receiver and if I don't send it back, they'll charge me some stupid amount. Couldn't access my account on line, finally go that straightened out , accessed my units and I don't even have the unit I'm supposed to send back. Got a real person on the phone who I had trouble understanding and they verified it was a mistake........maybe the Russians hacked my account......Jeez, don't need this sh*t on Sunday morning...rant over.

Miss D's move took 3 hours yesterday. She did not take several things with. Her next move will require movers and a bigger truck.

 

 

We have cut the cord at house #3. First time in eons that we have had terrestrial TV and surprised that there are 71 over the air channels on TV. All the TVs are Internet ready so when we get that hooked up Netflix and Prime will be on too. Gonna have to watch whatever baseball is on.

She left some furniture at my house too.

 

Don't have the option of over air TV where i'm at. I'm blocked out by a big brick building a few hundred feet away. Had cable when it first became available. I'll stay connected to satellite or cable because I don't need the BS that I'll hear from my wife if she can't watch her shows......it's worth what I pay to not get aggravated. Although , it may be time ti switch to cable because DirecTV is gettin expensive.
