Hey Al...When I built my Duplexes I had to go before the City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission to get some land rezoned. You should have seen me! I was wearing a suit and tie, LMAO...I took the podium, spoke to the council members with all of the neighbors present, and answered all their questions. They passed my zoning request....

That's the way to do it...know what you're talking about. Last residential development we did required a zoning change. 40 people with a lawyer showed up to fight me. I spoke for almost an hour. I reminded them that it was zoned Manufacturing and bordered a rail track, which was rarely used but was active. Told them without a zoning change I was legally allowed to put a slaughterhouse there, a pallet manufacturing facility and a list of other things which they wouldn't appreciate . The rail track being a big plus. Also made a fool of their lawyer. The second meeting 30 people showed up in my favor....we got the zoning change and did the housing development..
