Made it to our overnight stop in Norman, OK. Rain pounded all the way from Kansas to here. Glad you made it safe Greg and damn Chuck, hope that tank is not leaking.

Thanks for the update, Russ!
Had a deer run across the road in front of me this morning. That was exciting!

Just went back a couple pages to see if anyone posted going home progress. Glad you made it home ok, Greg. Russ, good news, repeat tomorrow. Chuck, think that happened on that godawful shake everything loose section where we met? Hope you can fiddle it good enough to get home.

Got to Audrey's home about 6pm, good trip, just a little rain here and there. I think she exceeded the speed rating on the trailer tires, but everything held together ok. Hung out with her for a while, admired her rebuilt pool - it was a dirt hole in the ground when she left. Her daughter ran to the truck screaming Mommy, Mommy! I think she was glad to see her.

Audrey took most of the pics, I'll get them later and post some. Here's a few I took.

My daughter and I (the old fart, front left) and 4 couples that score a 12 out of 10 on the great folks I've met scale.

Needles is an awesome ride. Probably would have been more awesome for the rest if I hadn't slowed them down, I never got over 65, a few tight curves on that road. Audrey with my sportster (sporties ain't so sporty two up), Russ and Mrs Russ behind.

Since Izzo couldn't be with us, I took a mountain goat photo for him.

Quite a view between rain showers at the house last evening. And great folks to share it with.

Our trip home was fine, this trucker wasn't so lucky. Somewhere on I90 in SD.

First wet feet in the rebuilt pool and time to resume home life. Audrey and I added some great additions to our memory library this week.

Now I've got over 30 pages to catch up on...
