Close call sometime last nite or dark of the morning. I heard some heavy rain last nite, must have been some wind, too. That limb come off at a bit different angle, could've been a headlight or windshield. Did a perfect drop 'tween the trucks, mine in the driveway. Out with a chainsaw early, neighbor's wife was trying to cut it up with a handsaw. Bigger than it looks in the pic, too heavy to drag.

Getting a later start today than I wanted, probably be after 7pm before we head out. Might get 4 hours closer, put us in Hill City in the afternoon.

Crazy Moldy! Hope the bad weather done for a while.

We have about 2 more sunny days here before a weather system moves in.

Tried to shoot a gopher at close range with my scoped Grendel. I need some back up iron sights. 20 yards was too close for a scope.

 

Late shift check-in, looks like everyone is having fun. Lou, just look down the barrel and pray.

 

Switching over to my XD-9. Hopefully I have better luck.
