TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XI
Hey Don! Glad you made it home safe. Bummer about the medical issue. I had a serious low blood sugar problem last weekend and it was really hot outside. I didn't think I had overdone it and thought I was doing pretty good with eating and everything but broke out in cold sweats and my blood sugar was all the way down to 44. Never has a regular Mountain Dew taste so good as it did that night. Just when you think you got it all figured out there's a hiccup that goes and changes your whole game plan, huh?

Awesome! did you figure out what it was?
Well, as I mentioned, one of the alternators had a failed regulator. I don’t know what caused that reg. to fail but that was the engine the stereo amplifier was connected to. I haven’t reconnected the amp. yet but I’m sure the bad reg. was what the amp. didn’t like. The duel bank battery charger/ maintainer is shot and I have a new one coming.
The other good thing to come from this is that now I know the two battery selector switches (one of which did not function in all positions) are wired correctly . Now I can use battery one or battery two independently of each other, or both together. This can come in handy in the event that I draw one battery down to a point it won’t start the an engine, I can switch to the other battery and start each engine.
