I made it across the old Tamiami Trail in 1970, Miami side to Naples, that was as far south as I got.

 

The old Tamiami trail is the same Tamiami trail we've got. HaHa!
Actually that's my favorite ride. Miami to Naples. Maybe Ft Myers. I nearly missed getting hit by lightning on i75 returning from Ft Myers once. I had to pull over from the scare. Thank god it was raining cause I pissed myself...

One of the Minnysota lakes around here, lot of em. Catfish, don't know what kind. I wasn't there, other grandparents and her brother was. Everyone in the family fishes but me.

 

Looks like a channel catfish. Tasty when fried.
