Afternoon Woods, I know complaining doesn’t help and worrying is the worst for a good nights sleep. What started out as simple routine maintenance has blown up in my face! I decided to change my eight year old batteries in my boat and now I have serious electrical problems. All I did was take the old ones out and put two new ones in. Now neither alternator is charging and my twin bank battery maintainer is shot .. I’m showing a 12.5v between the negative battery post and the negative battery cable and I don’t know what’s caused the draw ?. I know, first world problems but I think I’m losing my mind!
Sounds like you missed the alternator exciter wire.
