Steve from Windows Dept (I asked to verify that he was calling from Windows) just called to say that my computer is sending out viruses and that they have been getting notifications for the last couple months. I had to write down the Windows ID number so when I initiate the website, I can type it in. The ID Number was 00C04FB7B062. But when I repeated it back, I accidentally mixed up a couple letters, but it seemed to not have mattered cause Steve said I was right.
Steve then instructed me to tell him what is on my screen. Told him nothing was on the screen. Asked if it was turned on. I replied, Tough to turn on when I don't own a computer. He then asked if it was ok to send the report to cancel my special ID number. I said for sure, don't need it, gots no computer.
