It can be. After you pay the dollar difference, you still have GST on it. No big deal on the GST, you have to pay it regardless. Then you have the border fees. Once you get it here, you have to take it to Canadian Tire (who knows nothing about Bikes) and get a Out Of Country Inspection. With that, you now have to replace the speedometer for a metric one when before you could keep the imperial one. Oh, did I mention that once it hits the border, it has to be completely stock and ALL recalls must be done.

On top of that, I'm honestly 700 miles from the nearest border. All that will make it cost just as much, if not more than buying up here.

We do get the *** end of the stick up here. On the upside, my bike is still worth 2G less than what I paid for it Hahaha

I was thinking of bringing a bunch when we go down and selling them from the truck.
Make a few coin that way. Cases of maple syrup, frozen quiche and felt tipped pens as far as the eye can see!

It may get me barred from travelling there again if I make it past the border. Might have to do a night crossing!

Morning Larry. Same here - 58 degrees. I'm okay with 60ish, which will happen son.

I'm heading to Toronto on business next week, so try to do it then. We need to maintain a balance here in TOAK.
