Checking in, staying warm. Got the wrong kind of 6" last nite, but my little 5'2" neighbor lady cleared it off my driveway before I finished breakfast. Her snowblower is running like crap, I gotta fix that.

Mark, I don't think I've fallen out of bed since I got back from overseas and got assigned to a bunkroom that had the base artillery piece about 25 yards from the window that fired for morning wakeup on weekdays. Of course I had a top bunk. Got a lotta laughs from the combat virgins when the vet did a tuck and roll on the floor the first day. Only did it the one time, though. If there'd been purty nurses around, might've done it more...

 

Both of my falls were my pride. I didn't want to ask for help for small tasks...tried too hard an fell as a result

 

It's good to know your limitations when recovering from injury, too. Bust a bone, therapy gets a whole lot more complicated. I know from some past experiences it's only natural to get impatient, but try hard... carefully. Keep reminding yourself this is only temporary, take it for a little while so you won't have to for the long haul. I know it sucks, wish it could be otherwise.
