Row on the right (except for the oddball lone collard with the smooth leaves) is kale, from last year.
This frilly leafed dwarf kale is the best I've grown, like it better than lettuce for salads.
I often put kale or collards in casserole type dishes, like pasta or chili, and soups.

I like the velcroed thigh pockets on my Duluth cargo pants, can keep the phone and wallet handy, don't like them in hip pockets.
So it would seem!
