I grow lots of a dwarf kale, lighter texture leaves, real frilly edges. Not much flavor in kale, but add some tomatoes, sharp cheddar cheese, bits of ham and/or bacon, and avocado, makes a tasty meal. I cook and freeze dozens of zip lock bags of it, still have some from last year. That goes in cooked food, though, not salads, miss my fresh picked salads in winter. Supposed to be one of the healthiest foods there is. Strawberry daiquiri, not so good for you, but I still love that stuf, too. I'm outta fixin's, gotta put that on the shopping list!

My problem isn't so much weight gain as it is a total loss of muscle. I'm soft and squishy. My arm had atrophied quite a bit. Luckily it's back to normal. By normal I mean its the same as my left arm.

Opposite problem for me. Muscle mass with a healthy load of fat on top.

I'm still a size 36. My weight goes to my face and my gut while miraculously avoiding my waist.
If weren't 6'2" I'd be in trouble.
