I've had all sorts of motocross and sport bikes. I've had blazing fast ones and some that were just fun to ride. Fastest bike I ever had was a Ducati 1098. Most fun bike to ride I've ever had was a Honda Superhawk 998. Not the fastest, but it made tons of torque that came on like a freight train and pulled hard well past 140. It was fun on track days to surprise the big liter bikes with it. Handles well once you tamed the forks but it was a blast to stand it up coming out of corners. The wife saw me doing that one day in the neighborhood and she was none too pleased.
If I could I'd have countless bikes and cars. I've always been more of a cruiser guy. I'm scared of getting my hands on a speed bike now. Imagine when I was younger. I ride my Street Glide way to hard sometimes.
Yep that's me. Hurt my feelings to see that one leave but I just couldn't stay on it more than 30 minutes at a time which is about the endurance of the gas tank at 24 MPG. It had BIG Mikuni carbs, a mild cam, velocity stacks in the airbox, more stuff than I can remember.
