I usually go home every three weeks but I’m afraid I have to go to Kenya again to fix the stuff I didn’t have the parts for last trip. New control box, new encoder and to see if I can get some reliability out of the moving doors on the cargo pod.

So you guys remember the story of me and Mick in the leather shop at WS'17, right?

I had gone to the dentist for a routine cleaning last week. I think I mentioned how hot the hygenist was.
Anyway she asked me to bring in some x-rays I had done last year. So I am going through the doors to the building and turn to make sure no one was behind me to hold the door open for.
As I turn back around to continue into the building, there she is, standing 2 steps in front of me in her workout gear. So I saw her without the scrubs on. I just stopped dead in my tracks and caught my breath. Loudly.
She said she didn't mean to startle me.
I said oh, you didn't startle me.
Oh, was her reply.
And I asked her a couple questions after a moment of silence.

Yeah I remember the story quite well. I was so taken with it that I took Kristi to the leather shop so I could spy this prize and all I got was the angry cow who charged my credit card three times for the stuff we bought. Greg, you’re gonna have to have a flip out card ready with b-day greetings or get well wishes for moments like those

Yeah, I will.
I had to laugh at myself on the way up to the office.

Trish & I were in there after Russ , and the lady said, “ I can only do cash transactions, there’s something wrong with my credit card machine “
