Hurricane Andrew made one hell of a mess. Luckily we didn't get the worst of it. I remember how loud it was then the eye came overhead and everything got quiet.

I was in Jax when it hit. My close friend had just left for basic training and his Dad was heading down to take food, water and other supplies to his girlfriends family down there. I stayed at his house to babysit my friends kid brother.
