Rainstorm flooded the basement by backing up the drain which the emptied itself in the basement. Power went out so no clean up yet.
Gonna be fun.
Several years ago mine got a couple inches when the sewer froze right where my drain emptied into it. City brought out a big steam truck to melt it out, was lucky, on their dime. Said they'd pay for any losses in my house, too, but all I lost was some clothes and junk in boxes that were on the floor, figured that was just a cleanup I was putting off too long anyway. Didn't think it would be honest to make a claim.
Everyone we know that have had it done have all had great success.
I think that the surgeon is just trying to pass the buck when he blames it on her back. Our family doctor says WTF!!!!!! She has an appointment in a couple of weeks to see another surgeon.
Hope this next one is better. I've been lucky with my knees, started hurting in my 50's, got to where I couldn't ride a bicycle and stairs were a problem, but just taking glucosomine took the pain away. I consider myself real lucky, known a lot of folks that had to have surgery, some a couple of times.

Only met a few, but can say the same. Vast majority of folks I've met that ride were good people. Lot of em sure didn't look like it, I'll admit.
