Never saw a WWII fighter in action, but have seen some AC47s delivering whoopass with side mounted miniguns. That's a sight at night. Oldest fighters I've seen using live ordinance were A1 Skyraiders, Korean era warbirds. Impressive seeing/feeling one of those cutting loose with the 50s a couple hundred yards away or less.

85 today. Got kinda warm sitting at two stoplights. Felt good moving, though. First ride past the mailbox in 6 months. Drop 20 degrees, woulda been purrfect. All that time, but it immediately felt natural being on a bike again. Gotta try getting out a bit most days, work up the endurance for June.

Argh, I should've known that. Guess old memories came flooding in and shoved common sense sideways. There was no intention of mocking or making fun of anyone, either.
