I'm still trying to figure out what that rusted chunk of iron is.
Other than a potential trip to the ER for a tetanus shot

Some of the stereo equipment was used but the existing wiring in the cars was horrible too

When you add in pre-amps, equalizers, amps and other sound processors it get ugly

Usually you run 0 to a dist block then 4 or 8 to the amps, etc. that's only for monster systems. I never used larger than 4ga on my own or others but saw 0 ga in a civic hatchback with a competition system

I can see where it would be a pain routing that stuff.

In that Honda Civic it was a kid who got his inheritance at age 18 and decided to put 8:15 in subwoofers 6 amps or more couple extra batteries a second alternator and all kinds of other stuff in there. The speaker box actually had to be built inside the car it wouldn't go in if they built it first and then tried to put it in
