Super cool plane.
The first model plane I ever built was a P38 back when I was about 10. The second model I built was the NCC 1701 Enterprise.

Love Minnesota late April through sometime in October...... the rest really sucks ! By the way, chose this site because there's no &#$!@&*%% grass to mow. Seasonal RV park rental by a lake.

From the National Museum of WWII in Colorado Springs. Dug up in New Guinea and restored to flight. Just before it's first post restoration flight, they found out the pilot who flew her in WWII lived in the Springs.

When I lived in Miami I told my buddy about the winter before when I was in Texas, and the temps went from 92° to 22° in 12 hrs with wind chills in the single digits. He didn't believe me...

Miami Springs?
I live in Miami Springs. Most of the residents here are pilots.

I rode through Texas on my way to California last year and almost froze my butt off. Louisiana was unbearable.
