Markus, just like what everyone else said, take the challenge. You've already overcome a huge challenge, whats a small one?
Plus, you're walking and talking compared to what it could have been.
Also, if a co worker pisses you off, you can fake a "tick", blame the stroke and hit them with the cane.

Took the bike out yesterday! Even though it was from the garage to the shop, wash and wax, and back into its corner.
