Well crap

Push button...click...click...click.

Battery showed 8 volts despite being on the tender since the last time I rode. I suppose 4 years is about all the life I'll get out of these things even while being on the tender when not ridden. The old battery was supposed to have 330 CCA but the new one has 400 CCA. Spins the motor a bit faster on start now for sure. Gonna go ride tomorrow instead of today because we are meeting my sister and BIL in a couple of hours for some BBQ.

Russ....what battery did you put in? I'm on 4 1/2 yrs on mine and going to put a new one in. Looking at the DEKA ETX30L or Yuasa one.

 

I put in a Duracell sold by Batteries Plus but manufactured by East Penn which is Deka.
