Yep, you're right. He runs the same section of interstate to get to work that I do to meet the Geritol Brigade..45 miles with 40 miles of virtually no traffic

Sounds like what Stan used to experience in the “Commute of Death” because it was a two lane road. Absolutely hair raising
Now that is the type of response I don’t usually hear. Usually it is something akin to “whatchooo want?”
Tell me about it. Cheryl and I just picked up some tile at the local cheap dump that sells such things at a discount and pay their employees accordingly. The fine woman at the cash register did us the favor of taking our hard earned cash (sprinkled with WP - white privilege) and somehow was able to keep her disdain for our presence at about a 50% factor. Which we appreciated.

I’m certain you’ve noticed that as more and more gimmedats are forced into the workforce, attitudes have adjusted downward. For years and years, there were some segment of our society that laid back and sucked in all they could get. Hopefully that is no longer a viable option and most of these folks with no education or training because of poor life choices are now on the bottom rung of the earning ladder. Consequently we have the drive for 15 an hour because the people who are qualified for these jobs can’t/won’t reach higher. Hopefully their kids are able to decode the enigma of education equals good pay.
