That's the plan. Been running about a 9 minute mile. Not pushing hard though. Doing 15 miles a week.

Russ, bet with your aircraft work you've run into your share of safety wire pigtails that weren't curled under. I've gotten cut up pretty good reaching into a tight spot and catching a couple pigtails left sticking straight out. Never had that problem with tie wraps, airlines use expensive tie wrap pullers that (when properly adjusted) snap them off flush. Company got some new ones and surplussed a few shortly before I retired, and I got a $100 plus tie wrap puller for ten bucks, still in good shape. Some years I'll go through over 100 tie wraps, so it was a welcome addition to the toolbox. Sometime when we're together again remind me to tell you about a really expensive tie wrap episode that never went public.

Oh yes. Caught some .020" stainless under a fingernail once. Another time I had a brand new .040" bit pop through a doubler I was drilling up and pierced my finger all the way to the bone! Ouch!

Come on to WS 18 and we'll swap sp many stories no one will ever want to leave the ground again.

knew a guy used safety wire threw aircraft propeller bolts...had a special tool to wrap the wire tight and flush, not sure if it's the same thing.

Even at my best I could only do about a 7 minute mile, never was much of a runner. I could walk 5 miles in less than an hour, though, and not be winded. Now my feet start hurting around the half mile mark at a slow walk. You're a big guy, make sure you have good arch supports in your shoes, don't do much barefoot or stocking walking, or you'll regret it in your 50's, or earlier.

You mentioned earlier about the new Lost in Space Program. I tried that, didn't think much of it. The Mom looked kinda nice butt nekkid, but that was in Deadwood, not this show. Took me a while to remember where I'd seen her before. Two white kids and one black one, must be a story behind that...
