Y'all know I am a man of faith, though my posts do not always show me as such, but it's pretty clear that HDF has limits and though everything is not 100% fair, they do try to do their best.

Yep, go in with a chip on your shoulder, tell 'em you want the rock bottom price cause this is a cash on the barrelhead deal and you know how the game is played. That will get ya off to a good start.

 

haha....I am a little more subtle than that. Besides, I know the sales guys and they know me. Bought a number of vehicles through the Ford guy including the one I'm driving and know the Cadillac guy . Bought a BMW from him 35 years ago and have dealt with him a few other times. They both know that I really don't give a sh*t on what I drive anymore. Have this Edge almost 3 years and have 11,500 miles on it...leased through one company.

 

Al, believe it or not you are the type customer who does get a good deal and service after the sale. The 'know it alls' are the ones that get it broke off in 'em and a don't let it hit ya in the *** send off.

Yep, it pays to be nice. I've run into the other type when we were developing. I've told people to leave my office because I really didn't want to build their house. Well, time to go see if I lease a new Ford Edge or a Cadillac XT5.....have a feeling it's gonna be another Edge.....but then again I really don't care, still have 3 mos. on my lease.
