Whatever became of Esperanto? When I was a kid that was the language everyone was touting as the 'Universal Language'. I won't tell ya what my parents thought of it since religious posts are discouraged here.

I believe it went down the same path as Ebonics.

I'm saying that there was an attempt to legitimize both languages that failed miserably
