Someone came over, got busy.....
Russ, like the pic of your slab, and new framing...
I have 4 likes and 2 dislikes...
My Likes:
1. Anchor bolts all seem 5' or less apart, which is pretty much Texas Code, and "tightens" up a house I think...
2. Barrier under your plates. Either your framer is pretty good or the builder is.
3. Plates are pressure treated lumber. Walls don't need to be, but great idea on the plates. Again, good framer/builder...
4. I see from the framing you have a 3 car garage. Sweet...I wish I had done that when I built my house new....
My dislikes...
1. 2x6 window headers. Love the bigger windows, but 2x12 headers are better..
2. 2x4 exterior walls. I know you said it isn't 2 story, but 2x6 walls really strengthen and soundproof a house. I did 2x6 exterior on mine, and it only costs a few hundred more. Bit more than that if you foam, which I'm sure you will, but still worth it...

Lou, you would not have liked this plane, I barely fit. No cushioning in the seats.
Jack, up here it's 2 X 6 in all new construction. Found that out when our addition was built.
