Just tell her to find some Brit and talk to them.....Most of'em are so damn boring, she'll be fast asleep in no time.

A good steak doesn't take much seasoning at all imo. We never marinade red meat. I might add some Worstishire if it needs it.

Mark, lesleys mom marinades steaks every time, and not bad, but not great. Lesley got her "cooking skills" from her mom. Last week she marinade the steaks in red wine. Interesting but entirely too sweet. Tonight I just used pepper and salt. So much better.
I agree lou, no red meat needs a liquid marinate. Especially steak. Simplicity is best.

Garlic salt and onion salt are my Go To seasonings for most meat. I'd pass up a bef steak for a pork steak any day and those salts are perfect on pork.

Now Tri tip I will totally cover in a mix called Susie Q. If not that then a lot of garlic salt and pepper. Good stuff. We never tire of Tri tip.

On another note really looking forward to Star Trek tonight!

Star Trek Discovery starts tonight on CBS. Takes place 10 years before Captain Kirk and the Enterprise. Big fan of Trek stuff. Not a big enough fan to own any merch though.
