Wish I had known that...it has been closed, very carefully, with an admonition to all users of said space to be careful opening the other door until I buy wood clamps, find the crusted wood glue in the garage and cut the tip off so I get good flow.....dammit, I may rip it off and join the doorless trend!

Save yourself a second trip to the store...buy fresh glue.

Haha...you know it........with age comes wisdom! That's why I have probably 6 or 7 bottles of glue on the shelf......maybe one isn't dried out.....maybe!

I had a similar project at house #2. FIL had destroyed the trim and veneer of one of the cabinet doors through faulty repair skills. Removed staples, reglued trim and veneer using fresh glue, clamped all into place and it looked good. Finished it up with sanding and then painted it over!
