I have to see what the state allows within the boundaries of the right of way. I don't need a lawsuit!

Bollards along a 40 mph road may not be allowed, I wonder what it would do to a vehicle at that speed? Let alone they are doing 50 mph usually!
It would make a mess of it! If this has happened before, can you file for a state installed guard rail?

Sitting here thinking bout my Pop. He's 80 yrs old, and it brings a smile to my face how things change.
My Dad had a tough life. My Grandpa was a hard hard man. Never told his kids he loved em. Daddy grew up tough and hard too, but he was a great Dad, he just never told me he loved me. Sometimes when he was real proud of me he would reach over and grab my shoulder and squeeze it. That was huge to me, cuz I knew what he was trying to tell me, even tho he couldn't outright come out and say it...
****, everyday now when we talk on the phone he tells me he loves me.
Funny how things work out...

I built about 500' of pipe fence around my immediate house here, with 4-1/2" pipe and 2-3/4" runners. That in itself is a good barrier, same as bollards.
That would be the fence I would have in front of a $30,000 piece of equipment.
