Howdy Robert ... Sand is in the forecast here also ... late tonight into Sunday morning ... according to the experts it'll be anywhere from flurries to 6 inches :>(

I was thinking about your son last night. I know it's frustrating when kids act out like that. I think all parents have to deal with that. Actually, not all parents deal with it. You are and he'll be fine because he has good parents.
By contrast, I visited some (not close) friends to discuss a wedding event coming up yesterday, and listened in horror as the husband (not the father of the 2 teenagers that live in the house) told me about coming home from dinner with the wife to find 20 cars in the driveway and about twice that many minors drinking and smoking pot in the house.
That's not even the bad part. The bad part is the Mom (his new wife) gave her son a stern - "This is not what we agreed to." talk, and then said it's too late to stop the party, for fear of the kids leaving while stoned/drunk. Her solution was to park her car at the end of the driveway to keep them all there to "party safely". He told me that they are out on the pier by the frozen pond with a 3 foot bong. The house is thick with smoke (which is probably fine with him because he smokes pot too).
Me and another guy are just looking at him, trying not to attack because neither of us can believe what we are hearing. The bottom line is we have two people who should not be raising kids and this dumb bitch is going to release these monsters on to society eventually.

Just read about a shooting in Grande prairie (2 hours south of us) that happened last night. I guess someone shot the grader operator who was cleaning snow on the streets. Still looking for the shot. The grader operator is in hospital but no word on the condition.
