Actually, they're coming in as some other kind of file and I have to have the machinist convert them into a STEP file. Which is my preferred file.

Is it possible there is some continuity loss in translation? I mean when I walk up to a woman in some far away place and ask for certain services, she just stares at me like I'm speaking Engrish.

No this is an issue with hole patterns being reversed from the prints to the STEP files. Numbers from the STEP not matching the print, etc. you get the idea.

I certainly don’t want to get hole patterns reversed when I am negotiating. You may not realize that our draftsman is just that.

Seems like most of the people I talk to can carry on a conversation all by themselves for a long time. I usually just put it on speaker and set it down so I can keep doing whatever. Actually fell asleep once, and woke up with someone calling my name. She'd finally asked me a question and wasn't getting an answer. Did what I always do when I inevitably zone out after a few minutes, asked her to say that again, must have missed a few words 'cause I didn't understand.
