TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part X
Greetings Wooders. Happy Saturday.
Today's mission, should I decide to accept it, is to upgrade and replace my basement man-bathroom ceiling. Been wanting to do that before riding season hits. Russ, there's a chance I may end up chasing gas-oil industry customers in your part of the world but final decision not made yet. I'll be unassigned in training for several more weeks. I think Chicago is going to another salesperson. Even if I'm chasing TX/LA customers, remember I'm inside sales with virtually no travel.

Good morning woods.
Slept in late after being out early this AM on a car accident into water. Not a good ending.
Coffee is on.

Yes, however as inside sales guy, I'll be working in conjunction with our TX/LA reps stationed in that part of the world. You never know what could transpire though.
Looks like all Chicago clientele is being transferred to another inside guy that has experience in that market. This leaves me temporarily unassigned ..... and actually I'm grateful as I get more training time to get up to speed, before being thrown to the wolves LOL.

We were recently acquired by a massive company. Now we have inherited their workload and have zero idea what their system is. But they did teach me how to log in as sick on SAP. So there's that.
Yes - this is the first real "training" opportunity I've had since several companies back.
It's on 2 levels, their complex internal operating system and the vast amount of hydraulic component current and legacy information helpful to get a leg up anyway. Grateful for some learning time before going live 100% !
